Hydrangeas - we carry varieties including Endless Summer - an awesome performer that blooms, well, all summer long! It flowers on both new and old growth from July through September. Older varieties of mop head or lace cap hydrangeas generally only bloom on growth that is left in its entirety (not winter damaged or pruned off). If you want a reliable bloomer, get an ‘Endless Summer’. Hollies - Do you want a blue holly with berries in the fall, but don’t have room for both a male and female plant? Try one of our blue holly combos. The male and female are grown in the same pot and planted together; you only need to dig one hole! Butterfly Bush - Lo & Behold ‘Blue Chip’ is a new dwarf Buddleia from Proven Winners. The lavender blue flowers attract lots of butterflies and require no deadheading! Low maintenance and long bloom time make it perfect for any garden. Sambucus– Commonly known as Ornamental Elderberry. We carry two new varieties. ‘Black Beauty’– dark black foliage with massive pink flowers in mid-summer. Can be grown as a shrub or cut it back each year and use it as a bold perennial. ‘Black Lace’ which can grow 6-8’ tall is comparable to the Japanese Maple with the same leaf shape and size . It has pink flowers in spring and purple-red edible berries in the fall. |
